A.B. HABIBI is the artist name of Edinburgh-based Aymen Bensaad. A passionate music maker, listener, and sharer, Aymen has grown up in Leith, honing his sound and sharing formative experiences alongside a wave of talented artists he is proud to call friends and collaborators.

He shares a studio and more with close comrades Young Fathers and Callum Easter, and his sound is naturally reflective of the environment, instruments, and sessions they all share together.

Born to Tunisian parents, Aymen spent summer holidays with his father in Jendouba soaking in the Tunisian spirit, culture and heritage that is woven through his music, combining with everything he knows and is surrounded by in Edinburgh – his home – to forge raw and purposeful songs.
